Account information. When you create an account, we collect details such as your name, email address, organization name, and authentication credentials managed through our identity provider.

Workspace content. We store help center articles, categories, branding settings, team membership, and other content you or your organization upload or create in Buuk.

Usage and device data. We collect log data about how you interact with the Service, including pages viewed, features used, IP address, browser type, and approximate location derived from IP.

Support and communications. If you contact us, we retain the content of your messages and any information you choose to provide.

Payment information. Paid plans are processed by our payment provider. We receive billing status and limited payment metadata (such as the last four digits of a card) but do not store full payment card numbers on our servers.

We use collected information to provide, maintain, and improve the Service; authenticate users; process subscriptions; generate AI-assisted documentation suggestions when you enable those features; send transactional emails; respond to support requests; monitor security and abuse; and comply with legal obligations.

We may use aggregated or de-identified data to understand product usage and improve reliability. We do not sell personal information.

When you use AI-assisted authoring, search-gap analysis, or similar features, relevant workspace content and prompts you submit may be sent to third-party model providers to generate responses. We configure these integrations to process data only as needed to deliver the feature you requested.

You control which content is included in AI workflows. Do not submit information you are not authorized to share with subprocessors used to power AI features.

We share information with service providers that help us operate the Service—such as hosting, email delivery, analytics, authentication, and payment processing—under contracts that limit their use of your data.

We may disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Buuk, our users, or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.

Help center content you publish may be visible to your end users according to the visibility settings you configure.

We retain account and workspace data for as long as your organization maintains an active account or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account subject to our data retention policies and legal requirements.

Backup copies may persist for a limited period after deletion before being overwritten.

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and monitoring. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Buuk may process and store information in the United States and other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update account details in your dashboard and contact us to exercise other rights.

You may opt out of non-essential marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those messages. Transactional emails related to your account cannot be opted out of while you remain a customer.

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, analytics, and security. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us so we can delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before the changes take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
